Episode description

Laura is a Registered Dietitian and beyond that has lived the ups and downs of extreme dieting for the majority of her life.

Laura’s passion is to help women who have been riding the diet roller coaster, with the aim of getting them off the ride for good.

Her style focuses not on excessive dietary restriction or through burning out in the gym. To the contrary, her style provides her clients with a proven system that includes “building sustainable habits and mental resilience“.

Laura is very much on a mission to STOP the diet culture nonsense and get to the core of what is really going on. To her health is the priority, not body fat %, but she acknowledges that most women, want to lose weight for the latter not the former. Her aim to the shatter that common belief system and instead offer a truly sustainable approach with proven results.

Within this episode we discuss her approach, and some of the great success stories that come with that. Her program, a 12-week intensive workshop, aims to break the traditional conceptions around dieting, offering instead a proven method that doesn’t involve complex theories of change but rather a simple and digestible plan of action which has already changed the lives of so many.
