Episode description
Episode 6 introduces our third external guest, Gabe Segall. Gabe acquired a master’s degree in #Sports-Therapy and has worked extensively, both as a lead clinician within a football club and as an independent therapist, treating a number of clients, including myself!
He completed his Bachelor of Science in #sports and #exercise at Leeds Becket #university and subsequently went on to complete his Master of #science in sport and exercise therapy a year after. He soon landed the role of clinical lead at #BWFC, a small upcoming football club with lots of potential. That very year he joined the club, the team went on to see themselves reach a milestone, making it to the quarter files of the #FA-CUP, defeating premier league club Bournemouth FC.
After a long career with the club, he’s decided to take on a new challenge and acquire a second master’s degree in #physiotherapy, which he is currently undertaking. He is now on this amazing #podcast, chatting to us about his experiences, teaching us about what he has learnt from all his years working with both the everyday man, and the senior level athlete.
Episode 6- Ismail and Gabe delve into #Physical health and what nutritionists can take from someone who lives and breathes fitness and health. We delve into the technical aspects and discuss what nutritionists ought to bring into their practice from a perspective outside of nutrition itself.
