NutriAdmin offers a telehealth feature for nutritionists. Today, we have released a few improvements to this feature based on the user feedback we have received so far.
The new improvements are:
- Your client can now join a waiting room if they arrive for the call before you do.
- You will receive an email notification if a client is waiting for a call.
- The call will start for your client automatically, as opposed to having the client refreshing the page repeatedly
- Minor bug fixes and interface enhancements
What is telehealth at NutriAdmin
A lot of nutrition, fitness, and medical professionals conduct telehealth calls nowadays. The idea is to use a secure videochat system to have online consultations/meetings, removing the need for making in-person arrangements.
There are many questions and care options that can be provided online, without the need for transport for a physical in-person meeting. Some professionals work globally, with clients in different geographical regions, so in-person meetings are not always possible.
With NutriAdmin, you have access to a secure client portal where your clients can log in to access HIPAA-compliant videoconferencing capabilities. Today we have made some improvements to the system.
If you haven’t tried NutriAdmin’s telehealth feature yet, have a go! It may allow you to replace Zoom, Teams, or Skype, saving you money and keeping all your data and systems in one place.
A new waiting room
Now, when clients log in to the client portal, they will get the following screen when you are not yet ready to join them for a call.
The client can then click the Join video call button – which will take them to a waiting screen as shown below.
The screen shows a spinner, and crucially, it allows the call to start automatically once the host joins.
This way, the client can rest assured they are on the right page and they can relax and wait; even browse other tabs in their computer or do something else whilst waiting. Once you join the call, your client’s screen will update automatically. They will hear your voice and now the call has started.
Email notification when your client is waiting
It’s a good idea to make sure your client’s don’t have to wait in order to provide them with the best service possible. Whenever a client joins the waiting room, you will receive an email notification like the one below.
The notification is short and to the point, and includes a link to the call. When you click the link, you will have to log in to NutriAdmin if you are not logged in yet.
Once you are logged in, the link will go straight to the videocall page for your client, so that you waste no time trying to find the right section in the software to conference with your client.
